The “Big Three” in Bo-town Means - NOTHING

What the Cavs have that the Celtics don’t have is the “Fountain of Youth.”

With players like LeBron James, “Boobie” Gibson & Shannon Brown, who can only get better as they gain even more experience, the “Big Three” in Bo-town are more a joke than something to seriously worry about this season.

Age wise, the “Big Three” are a decade plus older than the “Fountain of Youth” here in Cleveland and NONE OF THEM have tasted the glory of being in the FINALS.

Just because you put them together on one team–guarantees nothing.

Let’s say they go the “selfish” route and put individual statistics before team chemistry, they ain’t going anywhere with that kind of attitude.

I wouldn’t bank my money on Boston taking the East, just because they have the “Big Three.”

To give up that much young talent in that of Al Jefferson, Gerald Green and Delonte West, you’re looking at a really, desperate organization, as well as GM.

Danny Ainge is only doing the best he can to cover his own darn rear, because one more disappointing season and he’s a GONER…

None of these guys have ever been labeled as selfish players. Garnett in the one year he was surrounded with other talent took the Wolves to the Conference Finals. Allen, playing alongside Sam Cassell and Glenn Robinson took the Bucks to the Conference Finals. Pierce has never had a decent supporting cast, but has the driving ability and killer instinct to demand shots in the closing moments.

Garnett will spread the floor and offer a post presence, along with a great interior defensive presence. Pierce will slash to the hoop and demand the ball at the end of games. Allen will take advantage of the reduced pressure on him as attention is paid to Garnett and Pierce and shoot a very high percentage.

Al Jefferson, Gerald Green, and Delonte West are a long way from being All Stars, it’s better to have three All Stars now rather than later. Especially MVP caliber ones.

Lebron is a freak, but his supporting cast is weak. He doesn’t have all the tools to carry the team on his own. He needs Big Z and Larry Hughes to step up.

Nice thoughts, but there is only one MVP in the entire league and one captain on each team. If you have players fighting to be the man, there’s going to be no team chemistry at all.

The Lakers had four All-Stars on their team at one time (Kobe, Shaq, the “Mailman” and the “Glove”) and you saw how that ended up. No championship ring–whatsoever!

Just because you have three superstars on your don’t mean anything.

With his “new” super-human eyes, I don’t think LeBron would even need a strong, supporting cast this year. It would help him a lot if he did had it, but it’s really unnecessary.

I noticed that our Cleveland teams are feeding off each other’s success. The Cavaliers got to the Finals, but didn’t win it.

The Indians are getting more and more closer to going back to the World Series as the season slowly winds down to an end.

Let’s say the Indians win it all this year.

The Cavaliers will feed off of that success and take its own team to the Championship once again next year and win it all.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to understand how good LeBron James really is. He’s good and he can only get better.

There’s no stopping us now! ;o)

Michael Redd should have came here instead of staying in Milwaukee, because the Bucks ain’t going anywhere any time soon.

Had Redd signed with the Cavaliers, there wouldn’t have even been a Larry Hughes on this team. We signed Hughes, because we were desperate when we lost Redd.

I wonder how Redd would have done against Tony Parker in the Finals. Would he have been able to contain this guy? Parker was really something. He was unstoppable just like how Jordan used to be unstoppable during his Finals appearance. We saw glimpse of hope when “Boobie” was guarding him. It seems like “Boobie” is a lot quicker off his feet than Parker. If this kid can put something together this upcoming season, it’ll be the “Boobie” Gibson & LeBron James show in no time.

The only thing that confuses me is why the heck did he went with that nick name in the first place? Like who the heck in their right mind would want to be called, “Boobie?”

Hey look, it’s “Boobie” Jannene! ;o)
